On Thursday 6th June, the 80th anniversary of the D -Day landings, the largest sea, air and land operation in history, towns up and down the country will be paying tribute to those that gave so much to enable us to share the freedom we have today.
Join us at 12pm in the Churchyard of Blandford Forum Parish Church for a short Proclamation Ceremony that we are hosting in partnership with the Royal British Legion.
The event will be opened by the Town Crier who will be reading the D-Day 80 Proclamation provided by the Pageantmaster, Bruno Peek.
Following the ceremony refreshments will be served in the church.
