The Dorset Association of Parish and Town Councils (DAPTC) is proud to announce that Blandford Forum Town Council has continued to develop and train their employees and councillors during the last 12 months.
All councils in DAPTC’s membership are eligible to receive the annual Star Award which demonstrates a council’s commitment to delivering the best service possible to their community by enhancing councillors’ knowledge of council processes and keeping up to date with current legislation in the sector. A single star certificate reflects 30 and 59% of individual councillors attending DAPTC’s training and events, a double star certificate is awarded for between 60 and 89% and a triple star certificate for over 90%.
Blandford Forum Town Council has consistently achieved this, having received three Star Awards over the past four years.
